Ah... nothing like a scene of a winter valley... another addition to my Winter Series, trying to keep my strokes louse and imply alot of the details.

comments and critiques please..

Wow! I just.. wow.. I cannot find words to describe how I feel while browsing your gallery, it's filled with great peaces of an art! Fabulous! I would like to add to my favourites almost every one of them ;) I don't know how, why or who for you do these, but keep doing it :) Nice to see these kind of masterpieces around here!

Those trees in the front look phenomenal. And again, great use of atmospheric perspective; crisp to whispy and very smooth.

thank you very kindly...
i'm studying color and value use in perspective right now to create photographic qualities, and i still could use alot of the practice like this one... and i'll keep these coming...

thanks!..

Implication seems successful with the small rocks toward the background :clap:; however, I get a skewed sense of perspective upon hitting the middleground :confused:- Ah! But that may be due to my compy presently conveying coloring poorly ^^;

ah.. thanks so much for the comment, aye i should be more cautious of the perspective, the terrain on the mid ground is not very much defined, and i didn't quite have a clear form and perspective in mind when i was layering the tones, that might have been the problem here.. haah... good eyes!..

it's 2550 x 1676 pixels, cropped from letter size page. but i didn't zoom all the way in for the details.. i just kept it like that for better resolutions.. well it's easier to start on a bigger canvas and shrink later than the other way around.. lol

thanks alot eh...
