just to show that i have no imagination what so ever, try to find things you see in this picture that's been done before.

here's i'll get you started, there's MG ray, sand worm from dune, zerglings, samus's zerosuit, battle rifle from halo, biotics from mass effect, any other look alikes?

i should be ashamed

We all got 'creativity blockdays'. Ability to judge work done by yourself and to compare it with others is one of steps before inventing something completely new. I have more knowledge in architecture than in games, but I can say you can always find similarities between pieces of art (buildings). What matters is creating new context, concept, idea using your skills and knowledge. There is no need to look for similar details:)

So there is everything fine with you. You rock, that's why I watch you!

I agree with V4Lyz. Sometimes all you need to do to create something original is find already processed material and make it your own. This picture is case 'n point.
