It's finally finished..! this one took me quite a few days to do.. haah.. one of my longest paintings..

so, i stumbled across njoo's contest journal, and what do you know. steampunk! i knew i had to create a piece for it, the vision of that old cityscape with the smell of clouds and steams just competes me. so here it is folks.. steampunk fairytale. hope it's steamy enough for you..

I like it but I have a slight disliking for some of it as well. The background is breath taking and is definetly well digested by my eyes but, the woman seems to be a little too out of place. Your losing some of the steampunk aspect by putting her in a sci-fi style bodysuit. The above elbow gloves balance it a little and I like the underbust stripe. Overall good job though.
