regarding tutorials. well... i think for PS paintings, video tutorials with voice over are generally more useful. and the good tutorials on these subjects usually isn't free. i've went through a lot of tutuorials and some i still go back to, and gnomon still have what i consider the best tutorials out there. because it's real top industry artists showing you their pipeline and techniques, if all else fails you still gain something from watching. for starters i'd recommend Feng Zhu's concept art series, neat concept art tutorial on sketching and coloring in photoshop, but a lot of it is still basic paper sketching if you are interested in that. um. i can't think of one that's heavier on photoshop basics, i think fengzhu covers a bit of that. not sure if you want to go into matte painting, they have tutorials from Dusso and Dylan Cole, interesting stuff.. harder to learn from.

go forth and run a research on it. lol. i hope this helps a bit

no, its ok, it realy didnt fit the brief enyway they wanted a fairy tale and i did comic fan art (lol).it was just realy a chanse to show some of my work so i was just happy it appeared at all.

good to know. i have looked at imagine fx's stuff in the past on coloring theory and stuff but i never seem to get quite what i am looking for. it's a matter of perseverence... and maybe a class on how to use all of photoshop, but seeing work like your's just makes me want to try and kick mine up more levels...

so keep it up definitely.

i traded my soul for a good solid Photoshop, and my intuos tablet.. quite standard i'd say. i use a bit of custom brushes some times. photoshop really got the power to offer a lot and so far i've seen not much reasons to wander off for other programs. lol
